UBC’s annual Climate Emergency Week seeks to convene and energize communities of climate justice. Now microgrants are available for student organizers to plan and deliver events and activities during the next Climate Emergency Week, taking place February 10-14, 2025.

This year, the Sustainability Hub is offering TEN $250 microgrants to student organizers to reduce barriers to participation, and increase equity and access for students that want to organize. All UBC students are eligible to apply!

Funding can be used for any event or activity, but will prioritize projects that support equity-seeking student organizers and their audiences, and ideas that invite audience participation in a fun and creative way.

UBC’s Climate Emergency Week Microgrants are sponsored by the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions.
