As a global leader in sustainability and climate action, UBC uses its land, assets and utilities as a hub for sustainability innovation. We’ve set aggressive greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets, and our Vancouver campus produced 38% less GHG emissions in 2018 than it did in 2007. The development of UBC’s latest Climate Action Plan 2030 (CAP 2030) is underway and is a key component to accelerating UBC net zero carbon emissions.
