This program offers the option to stay in a UBC student residence during the program or commute daily.
Are you interested in directing and editing a short film or music video? Learn all the steps in video production using industry-standard equipment, tools and software. Experiment with various framing techniques, camera shots and movements that are key to compelling visual storytelling. No previous knowledge of video production or camera skills are required.
The Department of Creative Studies at UBC Okanagan offers programs in screenwriting, acting, documentary filmmaking, narrative short filmmaking, animation, experimental filmmaking and online content production such as YouTube, podcasts and social media.
