Presenting Your Research with Confidence is a free interactive workshop that aims to provide UBC graduate students, and other interested members of the UBC community, presentation tips and techniques, demonstrations and small group practice.
Hosted jointly by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Studies and the UBC Sustainability Initiative Sustainability Scholars Program, this workshop aims to help participants learn how to create and deliver a high quality, brief presentation of their project and/or research. Key topics include:
- How to prepare your presentation for various audiences
- How to engage your audience and make your presentation memorable
- How to calm your nerves and present with confidence
Please come prepared to present your research in a small group setting and to receive feedback from other participants.
