Tue, March 14, 2017 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM THEA KOERNER HOUSE (FACULTY OF GRADUATE STUDIES/GRAD STUDENT CENTRE). Join us for the semi-final rounds of 2017 UBC Three Minute Thesis! Graduate students have three minutes each to explain their research. Come cheer them on, and vote for your favourite for the People's Choice Award. There will be two semi-final rounds, 1:00-2:30 PM, and 3:00-4:30 PM.
The top competitors from each round will progress to the 3MT finals on March 16, at 12:30 PM at Jack Poole Hall, Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre.
3MT was founded in 2008 by the University of Queensland. Today, more than 350 universities around the world hold 3MT competitions.
