The Centre for Sustainable Food Systems at the UBC Farm is proud to present Lenore Newman’s new book ‘Speaking in Cod Tongues – A Canadian Culinary Journey’. We will be hosting a book launch at the University of British Columbia’s Food, Nutrition and Health Building Atrium on Thursday January 12, 2017 (4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) with the University of Regina Press and the UBC Bookstore.

Dr. Lenore Newman is a writer and urban geographer. She holds a Canada Research Chair in Food Security and Environment, and is an Associate Professor of Geography and the Environment at the University of the Fraser Valley.
