Sustainability Ambassadors

The Sustainability Ambassadors  is a sustainability education outreach activity of the UBC Sustainability Initiative (USI) Teaching, Learning, & Research Office. Volunteer Ambassadors work with the Sustainability Student Engagement Manager as part of a team to deliver sustainability programming to fellow students on UBC's Vancouver campus.  They also network with student groups on campus to promote sustainability education.

Student Groups

There are numerous volunteer-run student clubs, organizations and initiatives at UBC focused on sustainability. While some activities are in specific departments or faculties, many are open to students of all disciplines. All offer plenty of opportunities to meet new people and explore the many facets of sustainability.

Student Sustainability Council

The Student Sustainability Council provides feedback to specific projects, programs and initiatives of the UBC Sustainability Initiative, Campus and Community Planning, and Wellbeing at UBC. The Council is a conduit for communicating student-originated sustainability priorities in teaching and learning programs, research and partnerships opportunities, and campus operations.
