Join us for a guided tour of UBC Botanical Garden and explore the Grow Green demonstration garden. Grow Green is a DIY gardening guide to help you plan, grow and nurture an eco-friendly lawn or garden in Metro Vancouver. Find designs of all shapes and sizes and get a personalized design for your space at GrowGreenGuide.ca. A partnership between Metro Vancouver and UBC Botanical Garden, this guide was created for residents of Metro Vancouver to find ways to garden in a sustainable manner.

Along the guided tour, you will visit Vancouver’s oldest demonstration Food Garden, our Alpine Garden and the Grow Green garden design demonstration beds. Come outside during National Garden Days and find out how you can be green and learn more about:

• Innovations in Sustainable Horticulture
• Eco-friendly garden practices
• Landscape design principals
• Water conservation and irrigation

Notes: This is a walking tour. Please dress for the weather, including footwear for all terrains. Tour will go ahead rain or shine. TreeWalk is open and additional charges apply. Free Visitor Parking for 3 hours, provided you enter your license plate.

Cancellation Policies: A $5.00 processing fee per attendee is charged if cancellation notice is less than 7 days prior to your scheduled program. There is no fee for transferring the registration to another person. Cancellations can be made by contacting garden.programs@ubc.ca. In the event that a program is cancelled by UBC Botanical Garden, we will offer the option of transferring to another program or obtaining a full refund.
