The recently completed My Health My Community survey with 28,000 responses from Metro Vancouver residents presents a unique opportunity to examine the neighbourhood contexts of social, economic and physical environment determinants of health and well-being. The ability to ‘unpack’ potential exposures and pathways through which neighbourhood disadvantage may lead to poor outcomes may provide a focus for public health intervention strategies.
