As part of the goals for UBC’s Climate Action Plan 2030 (CAP 2030), UBC will be updating its Zero Waste Action Plan to more strongly prioritize emissions reductions and circular economy opportunities including sustainable procurement and reuse.
In March 2022, we are holding a university-wide engagement process on the Zero Waste Action Plan update. The goal of these engagements is to consult the community regarding circular economy and learn more about how UBC can support and facilitate a circular economy on campus. This event is in-person and lunch will be provided!
