Join us on Thursday, October 27 for the launch of the CANSSI Distinguished Visitor Program, as Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Peter Guttorp helps quantify uncertainty to better understand the local impact of a warming planet.

Dr. Peter Guttorp is a Professor Emeritus of Statistics, University of Washington, Professor at the Norwegian Computing Center, Co-Director of STATMOS, the Research Network on Statistical Methods for Atmosphere and Ocean Sciences, Adjunct Professor of Statistics at Simon Fraser University.

Dr. Peter Guttorp is a Nobel Laureate for his work on the inter-governemntal panel on climate change in 2007.
