Almost two-thirds of First Nations who are struggling with Arthritis believe that physical activity poses the risk of aggravating, or making worse, their symptoms. Join this workshop where you will learn the truth about this and walk away more confident in your understanding of how and why ‘movement matters’.

In this session you will learn about:

• what arthritis looks like at the bone level
• why it causes pain
• why it causes stiffness
• why the weather might affect's patients

Our session will discuss why ‘movement’ is so critical in Arthritis, discuss the 3 types of movement; and the final piece is on ‘Self Management’ – how do we do this, why and some tips to make it easier.
