Drop in between 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. the last Saturday of the month to enjoy a special ecosystem activity for families plus all of our regular museum programming, including puppet shows, Raising Big Blue movie, and museum tours!

These drop-in sessions are designed for children 5-12 years old accompanied by an adult (not suitable for preschool-aged children). All sessions will be held at the Beaty Biodiversity Museum, with experts from the Pacific Museum of Earth making guest appearances. Note: Sign-in at the admissions desk anytime after 10:00 a.m., note that all drop-in activities will run between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Today we will peer beneath the ocean’s surface and discover the fascinating creatures and formations that make up life under the sea.

Join us at 11:00 am for a reading of "Big Blue Forever" with author Anita Miettuenen. Big Blue Forever tells the story of how our blue whale skeleton made its way from PEI into our museum. Anita’s reading will include an author Q&A session.
