Join us as CBC Meteorologist and science host, Johanna Wagstaffe, discusses her book Fault Lines, focusing on the science behind earthquakes and the risks associated with living on BC's South Coast. Johanna will further discuss how preparation helps a community recover following an earthquake, and how a 'resilient city' supports sustainability.



The UBC Sustainability Scholars Program provides UBC graduate students with paid opportunities to tackle real-world sustainability challenges. Students interested in applying to the Program in 2019 are invited to attend an information session on January 31, 2019.


FEBRUARY 5: The Sustainability Fair

The Sustainability Fair is an annual celebration of student and community initiatives in sustainability. It is organized by the UBC Sustainability Ambassadors and aims to inspire students, faculty and staff to become involved with sustainability.


UBC Reads Sustainability
