This project aims to research lighting and intersectionality on Vancouver's cycle routes to increase perceptions of comfort and safety beyond motor vehicle proximity to think about the qualitative components of safety and comfort. Includes recommendations for revising the definition of lighting in Vancouver's AAA design guidelines, a qualitative methodology for evaluating safety and comfort, lighting design, inclusive cycling, and improvements in data collection.
