The Climate Teaching Connector (CTC) offers UBC Vancouver instructors an accessible way to integrate climate-related content into undergraduate courses. The program connects faculty with graduate students from diverse disciplines who deliver guest presentations grounded in their research, lived experiences, and unique climate perspectives.
CTC is free for instructors. Graduate student speakers are selected, interviewed, and compensated directly by the program.
Since its launch, CTC has facilitated over 70 guest presentations across 36 academic departments, engaging more than 3,700 students. As part of UBC’s broader commitment to interdisciplinary sustainability education, CTC provides a practical and scalable model for embedding climate literacy across the curriculum.
