Fri, June 14, 2013 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM UBC Point Grey Campus. $45 public, $35 garden members (includes UBC students) all applicable taxes and fees included. Espalier is a pruning technique of training fruit trees into interesting shapes. Brendan Fisher will discuss the cultural requirements, how to get started and how the trees are trained and pruned. This is a great skill for individuals who would like to grow fruit trees, but have a limited amount of space on their property.
