The UBC Sustainability Ambassadors Program offers an enriching learning and leadership experience for students passionate about sustainability. By participating in this program, students will have the opportunity to engage in experiential learning and develop core sustainability competencies through sustainability education and experiential learning projects.

How it works

As an Ambassador, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to educate UBC students about sustainability, encourage student engagement with sustainability, and connect sustainability groups on campus.

MEET THE AMBASSADORS

Sustainability Ambassadors come from a diverse range of backgrounds including Engineering, Geography, Land and Food Systems, Business, Global Resource Systems and others.

PROJECTS

Sustainability Ambassadors work as an interdisciplinary team to develop and deliver sustainability programs and events including education workshops on sustainability issues, fairs, a symposium, and more.

Apply

Applications are open to undergraduate and graduate students at the beginning of each calendar year. If successful, you’ll join us for an eight-month term from September to April.
