Thursday, March 23, 2017 - 12:00

Thu, March 23, 2017 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM WALTER C. KOERNER LIBRARY. The Pixelating Mixer is an opportunity for DH scholars across campus to meet colleagues, talk tools, brainstorm ideas and network with others who use digital tools to explore and visualize their research.
Curious about text mining and want to learn more? In this workshop, we'll provide an overview of text mining and look at one user-friendly, web-based tool: Voyant. Voyant is a text reading and analysis environment for digital texts that lets you dive in and do some light analysis of texts without needing to code.

Registration is not required, but will help us plan for space. You can RSVP online, or just drop-in to join us. As this is a brown bag session, please feel free to bring your lunch. Coffee and tea will be available.

Location: Koerner Library, Room 153

This event is part of the Research Commons Workshop series.
