The Sustainability Fair is an annual celebration of student and community initiatives in sustainability. It is organized by the UBC Sustainability Ambassadors and aims to inspire students, faculty and staff to become involved with sustainability. The fair is an interdisciplinary and intersectional event that will showcase businesses, organizations and student groups aiming to build a more equitable, livable and inclusive community.

2018 Fair

January 23rd, 2018 - 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Lower Level of the AMS Student Nest

Through engaging activities and informative displays, participants will explore involvement opportunities and learn how to incorporate sustainability into their studies, work, and lifestyle. The fair is organized by the Sustainability Ambassadors team and supported by the UBC Sustainability Initiative.

The purpose of this event is to promote the social, environmental and economic aspects of sustainability and to encourage students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives. This year, our goal is to engage on issues that students may be less familiar with and to promote new or innovative methods to practicing sustainability. The fair is an interdisciplinary and intersectional event that will showcase businesses, organizations and student groups aiming to build a more equitable, livable and inclusive community.

This event is made possibe with support from UTown@UBC,  AMS Sustainability, UBC AMS, UBC Student Environment Centre, EVO Car Share, and Dive into UBC
