Sustainability Fair

The Annual Sustainability Fair is a celebration of sustainability initiatives on campus and in the wider Vancouver community. By highlighting diverse and innovative solutions, the fair aims to inspire students, faculty and staff to get involved with sustainability in their own way.

Through engaging activities and informative displays, participants explored involvement opportunities and learned how to incorporate sustainability into their studies, work, and lifestyle. The fair is organized by the Sustainability Ambassadors team and supported by the UBC Sustainability Initiative.

The purpose of this event is to promote the social, environmental and economic aspects of sustainability and to encourage students to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives. This year, our goal is to engage on issues that students may be less familiar with and to promote new or innovative methods to practicing sustainability. The fair is an interdisciplinary and intersectional event that will showcase businesses, organizations and student groups aiming to build a more equitable, livable and inclusive community.

This event was made possibe with support from UTown@UBC,  AMS Sustainability, UBC AMS, UBC Student Environment Centre, and KIND Snacks.
