Thu, August 20, 2015 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM WALTER C. KOERNER LIBRARY. Free. Do you ever wonder about modeling outcome variables in your research? Come and learn how it is done with SPSS.

Linear regression is an approach used for modeling the relationship between an independent variable "Y" and one or more explanatory variables denoted as "X". The case of one explanatory variable is named "simple linear regression", and for more than one explanatory variable, the process is called "multiple linear regression".

In our 2 hour workshop, we will take you through a tour of how these variables can be used in SPSS, what are the interpretations, and how can you build a model for your project. Start with this workshop and continue on through the logistic regression analysis workshop.

Location: Koerner Library, Room 217

This event is part of the Research Commons workshops.
