What might sea level rise look like at UBC? A new mural in the AMS sustainability corridor offers a glimpse into future possibilities.
Join local artists Josianne Assignon and Ana Julia Leon to celebrate the completion of the mural and to learn how it came to be. With light refreshments, viewing of El Espíritu de Nuestro Mar / SOS: The Spirit of Our Ocean, and chance to connect with peers from across disciplines.

Initiated by UBC PhD candidate Veronica Relano-Ecija, the mural is a way to share Veronica’s experience and knowledge as a UBC COP27 delegate. The resulting mural visually represents sea level rise at the UBC Vancouver campus in the coming decades.
