The Global Lounge will be holding another Professional Development Day entitled Local to Global: Weaving Your Own Web! This will be a day of workshops and discussions hosted by our Global Lounge Network Members. Participants can choose from a variety of topics ranging from sustainable living to exploring neutrality in global conflict. All presentations are developed and run by students in our Network and are geared towards other student leaders. All UBC students are invited to attend!
Thato Makgolane, a UBC alumna and the project founder of the Arc Initiative will be event's keynote. He will be exploring strategic forms of development, emphasizing the importance of one's skill-set.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided & attire is business casual.
