Description: A Holistic Approach to Sustainability Course Design
Interested in ways to (re)design courses that weave sustainability attributes throughout the course and connect course material to local and global contexts? Join us in the exploration of one framework that holistically integrates sustainability at all course levels and experience the full planning cycle from choosing sustainability attributes and learning objectives to delivery methods and assessment. In this interactive session you will hear from a UBC instructor who has already applied the framework to one of her courses and you will walk away with at least one concrete theme, learning objective, activity and assessment that you can include in your course. Please bring a copy of your course curriculum to work on.
