Join in a community-wide event focused on creating a better future for our food in the Central Okanagan.
Learners from UBC's Okanagan campus will present some of the first findings from a community based research project to start the dialogue about food systems.
Summerhill winery will provide some light snacks to accompany the discussions. The greater the diversity of participants at the workshop, the richer the dialog will be.
So come with your ideas about food (systems) and participate in conversations around land use, poverty, food movements, policy making and marketing.
