Fri, May 1, 2015 12:00 AM - Sat, May 2, 2015, 12:00 AM UBC Okanagan campus. Graduate students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to experience the 6th Annual Interdisciplinary Graduate Students’ Conference on Science, Culture, and Society.

The theme for this year’s conference is Experiencing Engagement, Engaging Experiments and will focus on the myriad of ways scholars, artists, scientists, activists and educators construct knowledge through both traditional experimentation and experiential knowledge.

The conference will include a keynote address by Margo Tamez, assistant professor of Indigenous Studies, as well as academic presentations from the sciences and humanities, workshops an interactive multimedia art gallery exhibition, and a panel on employment stories in academic, industry and not-for-profit sectors.
