Tue, February 16, 2016 12:00 AM - Sun, March 6, 2016, 12:00 AM LIU INSTITUTE FOR GLOBAL ISSUES. Drop by the Liu Institute for Global Issues Lobby Gallery to view an exhibition of portraits of Northern Uganda residents. Running until March 7, 2016.

After two decades of war and mass internal displacement, residents of the Padibe Sub-counties, Lamwo District, Northern Uganda, requested portraits of themselves posing on their ancestral land. The three portraits featured in the exhibit are just a few of the images that Liu Scholar Lara Rosenoff Gauvin co-created and printed for community members in 2012.

This project is funded by the BC Arts Council.
