The objective of the study is to provide Metro Vancouver with information on how climate change may potentially impact agricultural water use in the region and, in turn, how it may impact future drinking water demand. Climate change impacts on regional agriculture and data on agricultural water demand from the two jurisdictions with the largest irrigated landmass in the Metro Vancouver region was synthesized. Water licenses from these two jurisdictions was also analyzed.
