Green Jobs Design Challenge
Design a bold, actionable campaign that accelerates youth into meaningful careers in the clean economy, in teams of two in a structured 1-hour sprint.
The clean economy is expanding rapidly across sectors such as building retrofits, electrification, renewable energy, transportation, manufacturing, and climate policy. However, many youth aren't aware of what makes up a clean job. Pathways into these roles feel unclear, uncertain, and inaccessible. Additionally, underrepresented youth face systemic barriers to entry.
Your task is to help close this gap by ideating and prototyping engagement strategies, messaging tools, a media series, campaigns, or any other innovative solutions! Your ideas will be presented to a panel of judges, with the possibility of real implementation, amplification, and further media exposure, alongside the $200 cash prize and a 1-hour mock interview for the winning team.
Organized by Project Arrowroot and the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre
