K-12 School Workshop

Sustainability Ambassadors are delivering sustainability-themed workshops to high school classes.

The purpose of these workshops is to give youth knowledge and resources needed to implement sustainability projects in their communities.

Participants will:

  • Work together on a sustainability case competition
  • Gain public speaking training
  • Talk with Sustainability Ambassadors about sustainability education and volunteer opportunities at UBC

Past School Workshops

On March 10th, 2016 the Sustainability Ambassadors hosted a Primary School Workshop on Sustainability at the Centre for Interactive Research on Sustainability. Three classes (65 students) came on a field trip to CIRS to participate in the workshop and receive a fun and interactive tour of the building.
