Charlene Morton
Dr. Charlene Morton taught for ten years in Canadian public schools as an elementary classroom and music teacher before completing her graduate studies at the University of Western Ontario and OISE/University of Toronto, Canada. She was a faculty member of the School of Music, University of Prince Edward Island before moving in 2002 to the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia, where she is currently a Senior Instructor. In addition to teaching courses in music education, social foundations, curriculum issues, and global education, she coordinates the Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability Cohort for the UBC Teacher Education Program.
