Graduate Student Internship in Beijing.
For the third year, UBC is offering an exciting summer graduate student internship focused on sustainable building practices. Three UBC graduate students will travel to Beijing in July 2013 and participate in a two-month work experience practicum with UBC partner Modern Green Development.

Modern Green Development is one of China’s largest property developers and has developed more than 10 million square feet of green buildings in China and Australia using geothermal heating, energy-saving technologies and other sustainable building practices. It's best-known project is Grand MOMA, an eight-building, 213,000 square-metre mixed-use residential, school and hotel development in Beijing.
In 2011 Modern Green Development and UBC entered into a strategic partnership to advance green building research and development at UBC. The 2011 internship was featured in a November story in UBC Reports.
