Abstract:
The seminar will feature recent work from UBC’s Collaborative for Advanced Landscape Planning (CALP). Speakers include Sara Muir Owen, Program Coordinator for the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions, Stephen Sheppard, Professor, School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture and Faculty of Forestry and Rory Tooke, Research Scientist and Lead for the Community Energy Explorer project. Rory will provide an overview of local energy resource assessment, mapping and communication. Stephen will highlight recent community engagement and visualization technologies. The seminar is a joint initiative between CERC and CALP with support from PICS at UBC.
